At the steinexpo 2026, the steute Technologies will be presenting expansions to its portfolio for heavy-duty applications under the brand name Kiepe.Industry. Pooling the expertise of Kiepe.Industry and steute Controltec means a comprehensive collection of products for the raw materials, bulk goods and conveyor industries. Users will benefit from a perfect balance of components and a wider range of products for the monitoring, control and safeguarding of conveyor systems.
The main booth P249 will focus on outdoor conveyor technology. An interactive conveyor belt model will demonstrate how tried-and-tested heavy-duty products from Kiepe.Industry can be combined with switching and sensor systems from steute Controltec to create holistic solutions. The result: greater safety, higher system availability and more efficient maintenance — even in extreme environments.
Exhibits will include heavy-duty emergency pull-wire switches, belt alignment switches, position switches and monitoring devices for speed and rotational speed. These devices all help to detect malfunctions early on, avoid unplanned downtimes and guarantee the safe operation of conveyor systems. Finally, belt-rip detection systems ensure that any damage to the belt — especially at drop zones — is quickly detected and the belt stopped accordingly.
Another advantage for plant operators: the various product series can be integrated via conventional communication standards in both the safety control and the operational control of an overall (conveyor) system. The product portfolio additionally includes robust (electromechanical and non-contact) switching devices for explosive zones containing flammable dusts. A wide range of accessories means that the different switching devices can be perfectly adapted to the individual use case in question – while ensuring maximum operational safety, efficiency, and availability in extreme ambient conditions. A second steute Technologies booth will be dedicated to selected innovations. Exhibits will include wireless technologies for monitoring the position and status of conveyor belts, wireless heavy-duty foot switches and a new generation of wireless heavy-duty position switches (RF99) for universal use in machines and plants throughout the conveyor industry.
